 | Mascov (J. J..), jurisconsulte et historien allemand, né à Dantzig (auj. Gdansk) en 1689, fut professeur de droit et d'histoire. à Leipzig, et mourut en 1761. Ses principaux ouvrages sont : Principia juris publici Rom.-German.; Histoire des Allemands, 2 vol. in-4°, qui a été traduite de l'allemand en français; en anglais et en hollandais; Commentarii de rebus imperii Rom.-German., 5 vol. in-4°, et Introduction à l'histoire de l'empire romain, in-4°, en allemand. |
